Why did my proposal get rejected? Event Planner, Marie Herman, reveals what you may be doing wrong.

After receiving a number of grateful remarks for her insights in our LinkedIn discussion group we decided to invite event planner, Marie Herman, on SpeakerMatch Radio. Marie Herman, CIWD, ATM-S, MCAS has over twenty years of experience as an Event Planner, Administrative Professional and Efficiency Consultant. Having an incurable desire to help others (or perhaps an inability to say no), Marie often volunteers to chair or organize meetings and events. Marie has booked hundreds of speakers during her career from events as small as 10 attendees to as large as 2000+ with budgets ranging from non-existent to thousands of dollars. Marie is serving as the 2010-2011 Vice President of the Illinois Division of the International Association of Administrative Professionals.
